11 years ago, in this very place Drew Estate spared no expense in cultivating the exceptional Broadleaf No.9 and Stalk-Cut Habano T52 leaf required to make Liga Privada a reality. These dense, juicy, thick, lush leaves – which are stunningly beautiful in taste, aroma, and appearance are historically bestowed only upon the farmers’ most important customer each growing season, and is treated as a reward, reinforcing the bond of partnership between farmer and manufacturer.
Translated to English, “Liga Privada” means “private blend.” It is the perfect name, as this cigar was originally crafted not for resale, but for our own personal humidors. Liga Privada No.9, a perfectly balanced blend of flavor & character showcases a highly coveted Connecticut Broadleaf Oscuro wrapper. Liga Privada T52, a more robust blend with notes of black pepper & spice utilizes a rare Stalk-Cut Habano seed wrapper that adds a never-ending finish to an epic smoke. Both Liga’s are a complex marriage of seven distinct aged tobaccos handcrafted by our absolute best torcedors. Each cigar is guaranteed to be flawless in construction, flavor and character…without exception.
This year, Drew Estate introduces for the first time a VIP package. Only a limited number of VIP packages will be available, so attendees will need to move quickly to purchase them. VIP attendees will be a guest at an intimate dinner the evening before the Barn Smoker, hosted by Jonathan Drew and the entire Drew Estate team, as well as receive 3 rare Drew Estate cigars. At the Barn Smoker event, VIP attendees will also be given a premium swag package, including a Barn Smoker torch lighter and cutter, a Barn Smoker rocks glass set and more.
The expansion of the program in 2019 creates an immersive dive deep into a variety of unique sensory activations focusing on additional brands, including Herrera Esteli, ACID, and more.
The Barn Smoker ticket purchase includes access to an all-day extravaganza and festival of American Tobacco Agriculture. Including a fully catered meal and liquor sampling.
